HATTE has been selling various products on EC for a long time. Currently, I sell coffee beans and related products such as coffee utensils on Shopify.
At the beginning of EC, there was only 1 person in charge, and there are many problems such as not knowing where to start. We will provide everyone with the know-how of Okamoto, who actually launched by himself, developed business partners, built a system, and carried out everything from support work to shipping and advertisement management alone.

We have been receiving EC consultations a lot before. But we had no EC experience. So, it was about 10 years ago that I found products and actually started trying to run EC.
After moving the office to Nagano, they began manufacturing and selling coffee beans in EC, saying “Let's do a bigger EC.” The target sales are pretty big, and I think it's “about the size of a convenience store.”
From the beginning, we have been working on the theme that can be completed by one person, and we are thoroughly improving efficiency by utilizing 3PL (warehouse work agency) and automatically generating labels etc. with self-made programs. Even so, it wasn't smooth sailing, and we've been dealing with various issues, such as a sudden decline in sales and the occurrence of customer support. Some have been resolved, and others are being addressed.

EC management is also a battle against the mentality of people who show complex and bizarre movements. There are things we can do and suggestions that can only be done by our company, which has walked the same path with daily management problems of not knowing the cause or not knowing how to deal with them.

Measures against unauthorized use and chargeback

The biggest threat in EC is the unauthorized use of credit cards. We are currently 100% avoiding unauthorized use in our EC. We have a track record of fraud detection with Shopify, but it is also possible to suggest fraud detection countermeasures.

Our proposal
Using the WordPress REST API, create a program that sends data to the automation service Zapier every time an article is updated. Data is formatted on Zapier and then transferred to an X-compatible service called Buffer. It can also be used as a marketing tool and is inexpensive.
